LOCATION: Troy Unvierstiy Downtown

The skills that will be discussed in this web conference can help those in the government sector to successfully navigate the often complex and challenging situations they face in their public service. The discussion has been designed specifically for you with two objectives in mind: First, it will be a refresher in the process of how to recognize when you are facing true ethical dilemmas, how to define the elements required in analyzing those ethical dilemmas, and how to process the elements you need to consider in resolving those dilemmas. Second, and just as critical to helping you to take action with confidence, the presentation will go to the next step of figuring out how to take action on dilemmas,  how to “do the right thing,” when doing so presents risks or personal challenges, when doing the right thing isn't easy.

Led by Alan Goodman, a certified Master Trainer for the renowned Institute for Global Ethics, participants will be able to follow the presentation with visual notes and will be able to submit questions regarding the material for discussion. Alan Goodman has been a featured presenter at several AGA events and has presented seminars for a wide variety of government audiences.
